Powered filtering device incorporating a hood to protect against particles class TH3 P R SL. Turbo unit, including battery and warning facility, worn on a belt in polypropylene webbing. Apparatus supplying filtered ambient air to the face piece by a breathing hose in PU with special bayonet connection in ABS. Air flow adjusted at two speeds without changing the class of the apparatus. Use with one particles filter in glass fiber (housing in ABS) placed in the turbo unit and protected by a pre-filter in cotton with activated carbon and by a grid in stainless steel. Used with a hood in polyurethane, polyester and cotton, with a poly-carbonate visor.
