Polyurethane (PU) coated fiberglass cloth is one kind of safety protection cloth. It uses fiberglass cloth as the base and coated with polyurethane compound to form a fiberglass composite. PU is the English abbreviation of polyurethane. Its performance is mainly characterized by wear resistance, solvent resistance, good waterproofness, windproof, softness and other characteristics. It is generally a milky white emulsion and can be combined with fiberglass cloth and other fabrics to make a variety of fabrics or linings. Therefore, polyurethane coated fiberglass cloth has very good performance of wear resistance, water resistance, and oil resistance. It also has excellent flame retardancy, weather resistance, solvent resistance, superior cold resistance, aging resistance and weather resistance, and good mechanical properties. Polyurethane coated cloth can work normally in the temperature range of -20C to 150C, and can withstand high temperatures up to 550 degrees. Polyurethane coated glass fiber cloth is mainly used for welding blankets, expansion joints, soft connections, fire blankets, removable insulation sleeves, fire curtains, rubber and plastic insulation board veneers, and bag ventilation systems.
